A man of service! He served his country as a proud Marine; Vinnie and Jean moved to Palm Coast from New York after a successful career as a Firefighter for the FDNY for 27 years and prior to that, he was a Police Officer for the NYPD for 4 years. He was the Past Exalted Ruler of the Palm Coast Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks Lodge #2709, the Past Commander of the Broad Channel, NY American Legion Post 1404, a member of the Flagler County Marine Corps League Detachment 876, and The Irish Social Club of Palm Coast Inc.
Vinnie was one of those guys who you were always happy to see, He was quick to extol your virtues to all, and he lived up to the warm Irish toast by wishing to all that the road rise up to meet you, to keep the wind at your back, may the sunshine always warm your face, and ask God to hold you in the hollow of His hand. He was one of the special people who brought out the best in all of us.
Vinnie passed away Thursday, November 25, 2010 at the age of 70 years at his home in Palm Coast.
