Freddy was born on April 27, 1986 in Long Island, NY.  Freddy was a graduate of Flagler Palm Coast High School where he played on the varsity Lacrosse team.   A graduate of Florida State University with a bachelor's degree in Criminology, Freddy also graduated from Daytona State College Fire Sciences and the Paramedic program.  

   On December 3, 2011, Freddy became the first active duty member of the Palm Coast Fire Department to pass away.  Freddy was a volunteer with the Palm Coast Fire Department for the last two years prior to his death.   He achieved the rank of Volunteer Firefighter – Paramedic.  Freddy was assigned to Station 24 – Palm Harbor Station.

   Freddy will always be remembered as the "Prince" of the family who loved fireworks, eating eggplant, going to the movies, cooking and being an avid sports fan.  He will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.  He leaves behind a family that has been devastated by his passing.  Survivors include his parents, Fredrick (retired New York City Fire Department) and Diane Gleissner of Palm Coast; brother, Greg of Palm Coast; maternal grandmother, Lucy Dolce of Palm Coast; Fiancé, Valerie Davis; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and good friends.
